Just as the characters of the movie go on an adventure, my 8th graders embarked on their own math adventure the first day they entered my classroom in August.
Students were to use a top hat diagram to gather supporting details on which character they most identified with,
And then using the CCS Literacy Standards for Technical Subjects, students wrote a comparison.
