What Is...Another Use for Socrative In the Classroom

Tomorrow we're going to review.
I have a Jeopardy game all planned out.
The math questions are written, in place, and ready to go.

The classroom organization is the part in question.

How to involve everyone in a review game and not just those in the "hot seats?"

And then it came to me.
Again...while I was blow drying my hair.
(Applying heat to my head is a sure-fire way for creative answers to appear.
Don't ask me how it works.
But it never fails me!)

Anyway...

This is what came to me to get everyone involved
And it includes Socrative, the Show Me app, and 10 iPads.

We'll divide up into 5 teams.
Each team will send up a person to the buzzer.
A question will be chosen.
The buzzer people will quickly solve the problem using ShowMe on the iPads.
If they get it correct, full points will be awarded to that team.
   All other teams will be quietly solving the problem in their teams and inputing their answer using Socrative for half points.
If the buzzer person gets it wrong, ALL teams cans solve the problem for half points and input their answer using Socrative.
