The students were trying to figure out how long it would take to fill the Big Well in Greensburg, KS with water from a regular garden hose.
With the freezing temps we've been having,
We were unable to use the outside spigots.
Our janitor was nice enough to let us use an indoor spigot for them to collect their data.
Their plan...
Fill a 5 gallon bucket with water.
Using a stopwatch, time how long it took.
As an after thought, I sent an iPad to record the process for an upcoming school-wide project.
What I got back was not what I was expecting.
Lesson learned.
Camera angle is very important.
