The Night Before Digital Learning Day

The idea was actually born months ago at an after school Leadership meeting...
As a staff we brainstormed some more...
Which led to the writing of the TASK statement...
And then the rubric finally brought the major pieces together.

Digital Learning Day 2014:  Create an ad campaign to promote our middle school

Following the same Authentic Learning Unit format as last year (TASK, rubric, how-to sheets),
This year, though, some new additions made their appearance at our 2nd ever DLD day.

1 - Instead of QR codes with links to How-To sheets, we created a LiveBinder to hold links to multiple resources, the rubric, and the TASK statement.

2 - To share videos and photos, we all photo streamed the pictures we have been taking throughout the year so every group could have access to hundreds of photos.

3 - An application process for students to state their reasons and qualifications to work on a specific project.

Tomorrow, my room will not have a math focus.
We will be a mixed group of 7th and 8th graders,
Working together to create the best RVMS ad campaign.
