On the SEC site, one can compare the state standards to the CCSS to get an idea of where the math will be taking us.
This chart is for 8th grade indicators/standards.
I tallied up the percent of instructional time to compare the KS indicators with the new CCS standards. This might be an easier way to view it. There are some definite differences with an emphasis on advanced topics such as algebra, data displays, and statistics.
