Working Together...the Avervision and the Smartboard

Avervison 300 AF model

To take a picture and put directly on your computer:

1. plug in the camera, computer, and run the gray cord from the camera to the computer
2. Turn on camera, press PC mode, and begin taking pictures by pressing cap/del on camera
3. Be sure to name the pictures when saving on the computer

To take a video

1. plug in the camera, computer, and run the gray cord from the camera to the computer
2. Turn on camera, press PC mode, and begin the video by pressing the video capture icon in the software.  It will automatically begin recording until you push the record button in the software again.

To use your document Camera with your Smartboard

Before you begin make sure your board in oriented. 

1. plug the dongle into the extra vga cord; then plug that into your computer
2. connect the Smartboard like usual by plugging it into your computer
3. plug in the usb cord from the document camera to the computer (the gray cord)
4. On the back of the camera plug the vga cord from the computer on the left side. (vga in) This is the extra cord that is plugged into the dongle.
5. The projector goes into vga out
6. Next start the document camera software and your Smartboard tools software.  Choose the pen in the Smartboard tools and begin to write.

The power cord to the camera has to be plugged in last and the camera has to be in PC mode.
