I want to make the best use of every day in my math classroom. So, these TRC workshop dates can pose a challenge of how to best move the student's thinking, while still make it manageable for the substitute. For Monday's workshop day, I chose to review for the local assessment which we'll take on Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll be using technology as our tool to review. I have found 4 games covering four of the indicators that will be on the local #1 assessment on the quia.com website. To make students accountable for their time, I have a guided worksheet to help them record the problems and scores they receive as they work through the games (see below).
