Tic Tac Math Algebra - iPad App Review

This app will be a good one to use in the 8th grade curriculum.  It has a game for Linear Equations (both KS standards and CCS) and also one for Systems (CCS).  This will be a fun way to review and practice the concepts.  The game came be played alone or with another person.  There are also three levels to choose from as students learn the skill.

When you click on the equation you want to solve there is a scratch pad that you can use...simply use your finger as the writing utensil and you can show your work.  Then, using the keypad enter the answer into the x= box.  

(Side note:  To take a picture of the screen on your iPad, hold down the home button and the power button at the same time.  The photo will go into your iPhotos.  In iPhoto, there is the option to email the photo to your laptop).

The cost for this app is a little pricier at $4.00, but there are some good correlations to the classroom curriculum that would make it worth it.
