I was very pleased with our math conversations today. I could definitely tell that thinking had been moved!
We analyzed the similarities between the graphs and the lines. Students were quick to catch on the steepness of a line and how it is depicted in an equation.
I then made up several jobs and "gave" them to various students in the classroom. I was impressed with how they could look at the equation and knew how the line should look on the graph.
