There are many Jeopardy templates out there. I believe I got this one from this website. This website also has other game templates to choose from: Hollywood Squares and Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?
To play Jeopardy as a class, these are the rules we used.
Set Up: Hook up laptop to speakers and projector. Find the Jeopardy theme song to play as students complete their work.
1. We set up the buzzer system (Scholars' Bowl buzzers) to have four contestants at the front two tables.
Prior to class, the students were divided into four teams based on math strengths and weaknesses.
2. Students from each team send up a contestant to the buzzer. A different student for each round.
Each contestant at the buzzer has a small white board with dry erase marker to work out the problem.
Full points will be awarded if the first person who buzzes in gets the correct answer.
3. The remaining team members have a white board and a marker as well to work the problem out at the same time that the "buzzer person" is solving.
The purpose? If the person at the buzzer is incorrect, the question goes to all the teams. The answer must be shown on the white board and half the points will be awarded for each correct answer. (This rule is important to get as many students working math as possible.) All teams are eligible to earn half the points.
