Moving forward is a good thing. If you don't move, you become stagnant. If you become stagnant, you smell. (I'm going with a creek bed analogy here...stay with me). "It Is What It Is" helps us to keep our sanity as we try new things, but at the same time we should never settle for "what it is". We should constantly reflect and learn to move our teaching and our student's learning to higher levels so the classroom doesn't turn stale.

What we have in Common
My two boys and I have a common thread woven between us this year, even though we are in two different buildings and in three different grades. All three of us have embarked on the TRC journey...one as a teacher and two as students. I'm sure we will end the year with different stories to tell, with different experiences and different perspectives. However, what an awesome thing to be able to compare notes around the supper table of what is happening during the day with this amazing this called technology!
